Globalfest Flagship Festival - takes place every January and is North America's most important world music industry event. Touring Fund - In recognition that world music tours are often inhibited by high start-up costs in the US, the gFTF awards grants in the range of $1,000 - $4,000 to offset budget shortfalls for upcoming tours that bring Globalfest artists to at least one new market(city). these grants provide crucial funding directly to Globalfest artists to perform in new markets.
