Organizations Filed Purposes:
Promote development and operation of affordable housing for low-income residents in NYS.
House New York programmatic goals vary slightly from year to year. 2019 was the first full year of operations. In 2019, the Company held two conferences (one in NYC and one in Rochester, NY) that provided much technical/educational content to the attendees as well as providing the attendees a chance to interact among themselves discussing issues and opportunities in affordable housing. A large future initiative is the promotion of live classroom settings in the community space of existing affordable housing projects where children can have a more formal on-line learning experience in a group setting (due to COVID 19). The Company is soliciting grants and other support for this endeavor.
