THE HUMAN DIAGNOSIS PROJECT (ALSO REFERRED TO AS HUMAN DX OR THE PROJECT) IS A WORLDWIDE EFFORT, CREATED WITH AND LED BY THE GLOBAL MEDICAL COMMUNITY, TO BUILD AN OPEN INTELLIGENCE SYSTEM THAT MAPS THE STEPS TO HELP ANY PATIENT
RESEARCH.Published research papers in conjunction with Harvard Medical School and Johns Hopkins authors in the Journal of the American Medical Associations Network Open publication. The Harvard Medical School research looked at the value of collective intelligence in diagnosis, and the Johns Hopkins research investigated the value of the Human Diagnosis Project as a quantitative, objective measure of clinical reasoning. Continued clinical trial research at the University of California, San Franciscos Zuckerberg Medical Center to investigate the use of the Human Diagnosis Project in clinical decision support. Developed opportunities to work with multiple leading residency programs on a national American Medical Association grant to longitudinally measure and track the development of clinical reasoning across cohorts of physicians-in-training at top academic medical centers.
EDUCATION.Increased the Human Diagnosis Project Community to 25,000 contributors from nearly 100 countries, who use the open, online system to assess and improve their clinical reasoning skills. Continued to expand Human Diagnosis Projects Global Morning Report to other specialties, including Family Medicine and Pediatrics.
SERVICE AND CARE.Investigated means and approach for delivering low-cost medical insights (information, rather than care or advice) to underserved patients. Completed collective opinions on dozens of test patients in process of vetting approaches.
