dedicated to creating a vibrant retail ESTATE INDUSTRY, THE FOUNDATION IS COMMITTED TO BUILDING THE INDUSTRYS NEXT GENERATION OF TALENT.
Undergraduate and graduate scholarship awards: The foundation provides undergraduate and graduate scholarships to students interested in retail real estate. These scholarships are offered directly by the foundation or funded through partner universities. Generally, scholarships cover tuition and related expenses with some additional funding to cover attendance at industry events.
Talent Engagement Initiatives: The ICSC Foundation offers student support outside of academic and professional education scholarships through its mentorship, internship and university partners programs as well as education and networking events at ICSC conferences.
THE ICSC FOUNDATION OFFERS PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS TO NEW AND EMERGING PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD. THESE SCHOLARSHIPS OFFER A WEEK OF RIGOROUS STUDY AT THE JOHN T. RIORDAN SCHOOLS FOR RETAIL REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONALS WHERE ATTENDEES LEARN FROM EXPERTS, SHARE IDEAS AND IDENTIFY SUCCESSFUL STRATEGIES ALONGSIDE COLLEAGUES FROM AROUND THE WORLD. IN ADDITION, award expenses were recognized for a recipient of THE MARY LOU FIALA FELLOWSHIP that was awarded in the prior year (2017) TO A RISING INDUSTRY PROFESSIONAL. EACH FIALA FELLOW IS REQUIRED TO COMPLETE A YEAR-LONG INDUSTRY RELATED RESEARCH PROJECT.
