Organizations Filed Purposes: Iris House provides comprehensive services and advocacy for women, families, and communities infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS, while simultaneously providing prevention and education services for our clients and at-risk communities.

FOOD AND NUTRITION SERVICESFrom January-December 2020, IH provided 13,561 meals in the form of hot/cold lunches in our weekly congregate meals program. IH also provided 59,076 meals from 4,923 pantry bags, and 18,046 meals from 2,578 fresh market produce bags while serving over 100 PLWHA clients and 2,178 community members in our Central/East Harlem South Bronx community fresh market initiative as well, we distributed 341 food vouchers value at 100 per voucher to 69 PLWHA providing them with 10,230 meals in total. 4,854 emergency pantry bags were distributed to over 1,500 community clients. IH also conducted 50 nutrition health workshops with 443 duplicated PLWHA participants 28 cooking class series with more than 1,650 duplicated participants. Many community members served are at-risk for HIV who experience homelessness, substance abuse, domestic violence, and those living well under 300 of federal poverty level.

SCATTER SITE HOUSING PROGRAM For CY20, the ScatterSite Housing program consisted of 176 housing units between Harlem, Brooklyn, and the Bronx which provided a total of 2,458 services to approximately 150 clients 99 males, 70 females and 2 transgender MTF. Total services for SSHP 1 are 1861 services for SSHP2 are at 348 and services for SSHP3 are at 2474 and 633 for HOPWA. Through the case management program, 8 clients are employed, 10 are enrolled in school and one is in job training. As well, numerous fire safety trainings and computer classes were provided for our clients. Throughout the pandemic, case managers provided weekly wellness calls to ensure clients had adequate food in their homes and no major/emergency repairs were needed. Case workers ensured that clients had their Rx and access to emergency medical/mental health services if required.

PREVENTION Prevention services are conducted in both NY and NJ. Prevention education services to those at risk for HIV were provided through EBIs and outreach to numerous target populations, including men and women of color, MSM, YMSM and WSW. CDC EBIS offered in NYC include SISTA, Healthy Relationships, CLEAR, Sin Buscar Excusas, D-UP, WILLOW and the homegrown intervention developed by Iris House. Loving Ourselves reached 28 HIV negative women, WILLOW enrolled 82 positive women, D-up 36 individuals 72 youth attended HIV prevention education workshops, 110 individuals attended CLEAR and 22 participated in Healthy Relationships. We administered 849 HIV tests, 530 tests for gonorrhea/syphilis/chlamydia screenings and 406 Hepatitis C individuals. 849 individuals received PrEP/PEP education and 34 were referred to PrEP. We distributed 80,475 condoms 76,198 male condoms and 4,277 female condoms and 49,931 packets of lubricant through outreach, businesses and other off-site venues and the agencys offices.
