Organizations Filed Purposes: James Lenox House Association provides housing and quality supportive services to older adults in two residences on Manhattan's Upper East Side: James Lenox House and Carnegie East House.James Lenox House, Inc. shares common Board members with the Association. The Association provides quality supportive services to the residents of James Lenox House and provides rental subsidies to those residents in severe economic need. The Association pays for the cost of certain James Lenox House staff members. The Association is the sole member of Carnegie East House Housing Development Fund Company, Inc. and pays for certain organizational costs associated with it.

James Lenox House Association provides housing and quality supportive services to older adults in two residences on Manhattan's Upper East Side: James Lenox House and Carnegie East House.

Carnegie East House: James Lenox House Association is pleased to continue its financial support of Carnegie East House's enriched housing model. James Lenox House Association made no grants to Carnegie East House during FY '20 to fund its operations.

Resident Services Program: James Lenox House Association provided direct services to its residents at James Lenox House through its Resident Services Program. The Association provided social work and nursing staff, health, wellness and safety seminars, exercise, yoga and Tai Chi classes, emergency assistance, personal computer assistance, interfaith chaplaincy, nightly movies, music concerts, holiday celebrations, summer barbeques and maintained the beautiful first floor library on the first floor of James Lenox House. These services were provided at no cost to our residents.

Rental Subsidy Program: James Lenox House Association was pleased to continue offering rental subsidies to James Lenox House and Carnegie East House residents in economic need. This important subsidy provides many of these residents with the critical funds needed to continue living at James Lenox Houseand Carnegie East House. During FY 2020, various residents received rental assistance totaling $98,673.
