The objective of the Foundation, in partnership with the government of Montenegro, is to find a suitable property for The Montenegro House in New York that would accommodate a multi-purpose Cultural Center and offices for the Mission of Montenegro to the U.N and the Consulate General of Montenegro.
The Purpose is to promote Montenegrin Culture and traditions appealing to many ethnic groups of the Balkan Region. The Foundation will provide opportunities for its members and friends to learn more about the history of Montengro, its culture,lanuguage, the tradition of all its ethnic groups and the current development taking place in Montenegro.
Protect and promote the interests of the Diaspora, strenghten the civic and state identity of Montenegro. Offer programs for the Diaspora and promote comprehensife Montenegrin-American relations.
