DURING 2019, M2M INTERNATIONAL CONTINUED TO PLAY A STRONG ROLE IN RAISING CRITICAL FUNDING TO CREATE HEALTH, HOPE, AND AN HIV-FREE FUTURE, AND AN END TO PEDIATRIC AIDS IN SUB-SAHARAN AFRICA. M2MI RAISED $1,966,849 IN RESTRICTED REVENUE AND $2,477,539 IN UNRESTRICTED REVENUE IN 2019. KEY HIGHLIGHTS THROUGH THE YEAR INCLUDE: (A) ESTABLISHING A NEW CORPORATE ADVISORY AND DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE (CADC), A NETWORK OF SENIOR PROFESSIONALS - AS WE GROW OUR FOOTPRINT AND RESOURCE NEEDS, ENGAGING WITH THE CORPORATE SECTOR FOR FINANCIAL AND NON-FINANCIAL PARTNERSHIPS IS BECOMING EVEN MORE CRITICAL; (B) INCREASED OPPORTUNITIES FOR AFRICAN WOMEN LIVING WITH HIV, OUR AFFILIATE PARTNER ENDED 2019 WITH OVER 1,700 FRONTLINE STAFF, CONTRIBUTING COMMUNITY HEALTH, GENDER EQUALITY, REDUCING HIV-RELATED STIGMA, AND ENSURING ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY; (C) EXPANSION INTO NONCOMMUNICABLE DISEASES PROGRAMMING VIA A NEW AWARD FROM MEDTRONIC FOUNDATION, SECURED IN Q4, WILL SEE M2M ADD SERVICES DESIGNED TO COMBAT DIABETES, HYPERTENSION, AND CORONARY DISEASES INTO OUR SERVICE MIX; AND (D) FOR THE SIXTH YEAR IN A ROW, WE HAVE ACHIEVED VIRTUAL ELIMINATION OF MOTHER-TO-CHILD TRANSMISSION OF HIV FOR OUR ENROLLED CLIENTS, ACHIEVING A RATE OF 1.9% IN 2019,WELL BELOW THE 5% ESTABLISHED BY THE UNITED NATIONS AS A BENCHMARK FOR VIRTUAL ELIMINATION.
