Organizations Filed Purposes: ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES, WHILE TRAINING COLLEGE STUDENTS IN CIVIC PARTICIPATION AND ADVOCACY SKILLS. PROGRAMS ARE DIRECTED BY THE STUDENTS OF THE PARTICIPATING NEW YORK STATE COLLEGES THAT ALLOCATE A PORTION OF THEIR STUDENT ACTIVITY FEES TO THE ORGANIZATION.

CAMPUS PROGRAM: PROVIDED MANY HUNDREDS OF PRESENTATIONS, FORUMS, EVENTS, SEMINARS, MEETINGS, AND WORKSHOPS TO TENS OF THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS ACROSS CAMPUSES IN NEW YORK STATE. SUCH EFFORTS EDUCATED STUDENTS ABOUT HOW TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION SKILLS, PARTICIPATE IN POLICY DECISIONS, INCREASE AND IMPROVE COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT, ENGAGE A LARGE CROSS-SECTION OF THEIR CAMPUS AND LOCAL COMMUNITIES, CONDUCT RESEARCH, REACH OUT TO MEDIA, AND ORGANIZE THEIR COMMUNITIES. 990 PART III, LINE 4a - PROGRAM SERVICE EXPENSES FOR ALL PROGRAMS ARE INCLUDED WITH THE CAMPUS PROGRAM AS DISTINCTION AND ALLOCATION BETWEEN ALL PROGRAMS IS NOT REALISTIC DUE TO THE PROGRAM ACTIVITIES OF EACH ARE RELATED.

ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: EDUCATED STUDENTS AND OTHER NEW YORKERS IN HUNDREDS OF COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE STATE - THROUGH DIRECT COMMUNICATIONS, COMMUNITY FORUMS, REPORTS, MEDIA APPEARANCES, AND EVENTS - ABOUT POTENTIAL POLICIES TO ADDRESS CLIMATE CHANGE, ENERGY USE AND EFFICIENCY, ALTERNATIVE ENERGY SOURCES, CLEAN DRINKING WATER AND POLLUTION.

STUDENT RIGHTS AND HIGER EDUCATION PROGRAM: INFORMED TENS OF THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS ACROSS NEW YORK STATE ABOUT POLICIES TO IMPROVE ACCESS, QUAILITY, AND AFFORDABILITY OF HIGHER EDUCATION. ENGAGED THOUSANDS OF STUDENTS IN EFFORTS TO NOTIFY ADMINISTRATIVE AGENCIES, POLICY-MAKING BODIES, ELECTED OFFICIALS, LOCAL BUSINESSES, AND OTHERS ABOUT THOSE STUDENTS' OPINIONS REGARDING HIGHER EDUCATION IN NEW YORK.
