Organizations Filed Purposes: THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE DIGITAL CONTENT NEXT (DCN) IS TO HELP CREATE A FAVORABLE BUSINESS CLIMATE FOR DIGITAL MEDIA PUBLISHERS. DCN ACTS AS A VOICE FOR ITS MEMBERS BEFORE THE ADVERTISING COMMUNITY, THE PRESS, THE GOVERNMENT AND THE PUBLIC. THROUGH RESEARCH AND COMMUNICATIONS, DCN HELPS ITS MEMBERS COMPETE IN THE MARKETPLACE FOR ADVERTISING SERVICES, AND WORKS TO COMMUNICATE THE VALUE OF QUALITY ONLINE CONTENT SITES TO ALL THE CONSTITUENCIES WE ADDRESS ON BEHALF OF OUR MEMBERS.

DURING 2018, DCN RELEASED THESE RESEARCH REPORTS: "DCN 2017 ANNUAL BENCHMARK RESEARCH", QUARTERLY REVENUE REPORTS COVERING Q1, Q2 AND Q3, DCN OTT & DIGITAL VIDEO BENCHMARK, DIRECT CONSUMER REVENUE CASE STUDIES AND CONSUMER EXPECTATIONS ON FACEBOOK DATA COLLECTION. ADDITIONALLY, DCN PROMOTED FINDINGS FROM A THIRD-PARTY REPORT ON GOOGLE DATA COLLECTION PRACTICES. RESULTS AND INSIGHTS WERE RELEASED THROUGH OUTREACH TO DCN MEMBERS, PROMOTION VIA DCN COMMUNICATION CHANNELS THE WEBSITE, NEWSLETTERS AND SOCIAL MEDIA. AS A RESULT OF THESE ACTIVITIES, DCN RESEARCH FINDINGS AND VIEWPOINTS WERE NOTED IN DOZENS OF ARTICLES IN BOTH THE TRADE AND CONSUMER PRESS. OTHER PRIVATE ACTIVITIES FOR OUR MEMBERSHIP IN ADDITION TO BOARD MEETINGS INCLUDED MEMBER EVENTS COVERING TOPICS SUCH AS TECHNOLOGY AND PRODUCT INNOVATION, CONTENT DISTRIBUTION, VIDEO, POLICY AND LEGAL ISSUES, SUBSCRIPTION INNOVATION AND THE 16TH ANNUAL DCN SUMMIT, FOR 200 ATTENDEES, DESIGNED TO PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY FOR IN-DEPTH DISCUSSION WITH EXPERT SPEAKERS ON IMPORTANT CURRENT TOPICS AND FUTURE GROWTH OF ONLINE PUBLISHING. DCN SUPPORTED THE CONTINUED GROWTH OF TRUSTX THROUGH UPDATES AT BOARD MEETINGS AND THROUGH REGULAR MEMBER COMMUNICATIONS.
