PRESENTATION OF DANCE COMPANY IN NEW YORKTHE FOUNDATION PRESENTED THE PAUL TAYLOR DANCE COMPANY AT NEW YORK'S LINCOLN CENTER FOR 21 PERFORMANCES OVER THREE WEEKS IN NOVEMBER OF 2019. THE COMPANY PERFORMED 25 WORKS BY 6 DIFFERENT CHOREOGRAPHERS.
NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL TOURING THE PAUL TAYLOR DANCE FOUNDATION SPONSORS TWO PROFESSIONAL DANCE COMPANIES WHICH TOUR DOMESTICALLY AND WORLDWIDE, PERFORMING THE DANCES OF PAUL TAYLOR AND OTHER CHOREOGRAPHERS. FROM JULY 2019 THROUGH MARCH, 2020 THE COMPANIES TOURED TO 23 DIFFERENT CITIES AND PRESENTED 54 PERFORMANCES DURING THE 2019-20 SEASON. ALL TOURING CEASED IN MARCH OF 2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC.
THE PAUL TAYLOR SCHOOLTHE PAUL TAYLOR SCHOOL INCLUDES DAILY CLASSES FOR PROFESSIONAL DANCERS, A FULL YOUTH AND ADULT PROGRAM OFFERING A WIDE RANGE OF CLASSES FOR ALL AGES, AND A SUMMER AND WINTER INTENSIVE PROGRAM FOR ASPIRING DANCE PROFESSIONALS. THE SCHOOL OFFERED 308 CLASSES DURING 2019-20, AND HAD 335 STUDENTS. IN THE SPRING, AFTER THE PANDEMIC WAS DECLARED, THE SCHOOL SHIFTED TO ON-LINE CLASSES.
