The Foundation for Podiatric Medicine, a nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization, was established in 1986. The mission of the Foundation for Podiatric Medicine is to offer continuing medical education, professional development and public information services.
In keeping with its mission, the Foundation for Podiatric Medicine honors the tradition of advancing the profession through education. Its premier educational event, the Clinical Conference, gathers the best and brightest faculty to present the vital educational and clinical information that is so important to podiatrists. The Clinical Conference ensures both quality patient care and the continuing growth of the profession. Learning formats include hands-on wet lab workshops, lectures and interactive panel discussions. The Foundation held NY20, its annual clinical conference, to provide continuing education credits for members and non member podiatrists. It is considered to be one of the largest conferences for podiatry.
