TO COOPERATE WITH COMMUNITY-BASED LITERACY PROGRAMS AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS THAT ARE OR PLAN TO BE ENGAGED IN PROMOTING INTEREST IN AND AWARENESS OF THE BENEFITS OF EARLY EXPOSURE TO BOOKS AND THE ENJOYMENT OF READING; TO WORK WITH LIBRARIES TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF FAMILIES WITH LIBRARY CARDS AND TO ENCOURAGE FAMILIES TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF LIBRARY FACILITIES; TO ENGAGE IN OR SPONSOR RESEARCH ON THE EFFECTS OF EARLY PEDIATRIC LITERACY INTERVENTION AND TO COLLABORATE WITH THE EFFORTS OF OTHERS IN STUDYING THIS ISSUE; TO ENCOURAGE PARTNERSHIPS WITH CORPORATIONS, FOUNDATIONS, EMPLOYERS AND CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN THE SPONSORSHIP OF THE CORPORATION'S OR ITS MEMBER PROGRAMS' ACTIVITIES AND TO SEEK AND OBTAIN FUNDING FROM THESE AND OTHER SOURCES, INCLUDING GOVERNMENTAL ENTITIES; TO ENGAGE IN ANY AND ALL OTHER ACTIVITIES THAT WILL DIRE
