The mission of Redeemer City to City (CTC) is to help leaders start and strengthen churches and city networks in the great cities of the world and develop and deliver content.
Church planting, training of church leaders, and content development
The church planters program funds leaders and networks who start new churches and church networks in cities around the world. Our primary goal is to help start new churches that meet the spiritual and physical needs of their cities. In 2019, church planter programing assisted leaders to launch 116 churches. Church planter programming helps support church plants and networks across 7 regions in cities such as Miami, Taipei, Johannesburg, Lima, Athens and Mumbai. The programming has reached 85 global cities where 748 churches have been started.
The leadership development program recruits, assesses, trains, and coaches leaders who start new churches and church networks in cities around the world. Our primary goal is to help start new churches that meet the spiritual and physical needs of their cities. In 2019, the leadership development program trained 4,500+ leaders and to date 29,000+ leaders have been trained.
CTC Content team publishes resources that help leaders minister in global cities.The content department diversified contributors online and in print to create a more globally representative suite of resources. Published Together for the City (InterVarsity Press). Self-published Tim Keller's, How to Reach the West Again and oversaw its translation into several languages. It also produced two podcasts to meet urgent needs of COVID-19 and racial justice conversations; published 3 books in partnership with traditional publishers; and launched a working group on evangelism in partnership with City to City Europe.
