To help new immigrants successfully integrate into life in the U.S. by rapidly improving their English language skills, providing wrap-around case management & counseling, & incorporating workforce development skills, digital literacy, & civics into instruction.
Despite a significant reduction in government grant funding, in fiscal year 2018-2019, Riverside was able to maintain a high quality of services and supports. Over 80% of our students achieved a measurable skill gain by moving up at least one NRS level after participating in a class cycle at Riverside. Riverside increased individual donor contributions by 150%Riverside successfully held its first fundraising event, an International Food Festival.
