Through its welcoming centers, Casas del Migrante, and other shelters, SIMN provides migrants, refugees, victims of human trafficking and internally displaced people services and assistance programs in order to facilitate their integration into hosting communities and their re-integration when they return to their own countries. The centers provide lodging, meals, clothes, medical and dental services, psychological assistance to deal with the traumas associated with migration, legal advice, training and formation, labor insertion, social assistance, cultural programs, religious/spiritual accompaniment, and documentation support, which is necessary to cross international borders and integrate into hosting countries. The Migrant Center Network gives people on the move a vital chance to rest and refuel before continuing their journeys. The Scalabrini Apostleship of the Sea Network promotes the welfare of people at sea worldwide. The program Scalabrinian Support for COVID-19 Response - Global Campaign was initiated to continue assisting, expending community services, helping migrants with their basic needs and emergency support, and dignifying them through access to decent health, housing and job opportunities in response to the pandemic.

Protecting and Empowering Seafarers and Fishers in Manila, Taipei, Kaohsiung, Cape Town, and Montevideo campaign has provided various locations with the opportunity to better improve centers and community with equipment and activities. Promoting Integration through Agriculture in ITALY project has improved the economic lives of migrants and refugees workers in Italy, It has contributed to their process to become autonomous and self-suffient. This experience has created a background that allows to consider going beyond the agricultural sector and diversify into other niches and productive areas for job placement. Supporting the Socio-Economic integration of migrant women and Chile program provided help in job placement of migrants arriving in Santiago de Chile. This project helped the immigrants to be able to establish themselves in the Chilean society and help their families. Acquired skills raised their self-esteem, especially in the face of the adverse situations that they must live as women, immigrants and mothers who had to leave their families behind.
