Organizations Filed Purposes:
After the launch of the goals and pledge, Future Now began to manage the pledge, website, and outward facing media for the Goals. SDG USA conducted initial research related to the Goals, and continued discussions on the agendawith civil society organizations and policymakers. In December 2017, a panel was held in Washington DC to formally introduce Americas Goals to the US SDGs Civil Society Network. The goals were also presented to the Congressional Progressive Caucus, which agreed to move forward with an endorsement of Americas Goals in 2018. Two highly qualified individuals accepted offers to join the SDG USA team as Policy & Data Analysts in January 2018. A strategy and budget was finalized for 2018.
