Programming: The WE COUNT! 2020 Census CampaignWorking with parents, grandparents, childcare providers, and family engagement specialists in Paterson, NJ (one of the most diverse cities in the country) we together created:WE COUNT! A Census Counting Book for Children (and the Grownups Who Love Them) a book illustrated by 10 diverse artists and available in 15 languagesResearched, piloted and evaluated a professional development/experiential training program that gave professionals and service providers an opportunity to explore their own beliefs and attitudes about democracy and civic participation and knowledge of the census.
