Organizations Filed Purposes: To Increase demand for multi-screen TV advertising inventory in all its forms, increase the number of advertisers that use the TV ad platforms and strive for ever-higher valuations for all salable ad inventory across the full gamut of multi-screen TV; to inspire marketers to transform their media strategies and buy ever-more multi-screen TV ad inventory in all its forms.

The Video Advertising Bureau. Inc ("VAB") was incorporated as a not-for-profit trade association to develop and promote multi-screen television as an advertising medium; create and distribute research/insights reports, marketer's guides, videos, infographics, video advertising campaigns and presentations to both its members (TV networks, TV distributors and Cinema advertising companies) and its customers (marketers, advertisers and their agencies) on all advertising-relevant topics in the US video ecosystem.

VAB'S LARGEST FUNCTION IS TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO OUR MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATE MEMBERS. SERVICES INCLUDE creating and distributing research/insights reports, marketer's guides, videos, infographics, video advertising campaigns and presentations about high interest video advertising topics which are distributed directly to US marketers, advertisers and agencies. These insights-filled research reports create increased demand for US Video advertising inventory in all its forms; that increased demand is a primary benefit that the VAB provides all of its member classes.

Our in-person advocacy at industry forums and conferences is the second-largest program at VAB. Our senior-most executives habitually frequent the speaker stages at customer-facing conferences in both major cities and smaller ad marketplaces throughout the US. As featured speakers and/or discussion panel moderators, top VAB execs take the VAB insights directly to the VAB customers. (marketers, advertisers & their agencies)

Attaining press coverage for the VAB-created insights/research is our third-largest program at VAB. Both hard-copy and electronic forms of press coverage is sought across a wide range of press outlets including: Advertising, Marketing & Media press, Digital Advertising and Tech Press, General Business press, Research & Insights press, plus Sports press and Entertainment press.
