Organizations Filed Purposes:
PROMOTE THE ADVANCEMENT OF THE STATUS OF WOMEN IN SOCIETY AND OF WOMEN IN THE LEGAL PROFESSION.
Installation Dinners are administered by each of the 18 chapters for the induction of officers and the presentation of awards to honor the significant achievements of individual members and recognize their contributions to the organization and to the greater legal community.
The annual Convention includes: the induction of Association officers and the presentation of awards to honor the significant achievements of individual members and recognize their contributions to the organization and to the greater legal community, a key-note address delivered by a high-profile individual from the legal or political community, a presentation by the newly inducted President that outlines plans for the upcoming year with opportunity for comments/discussion from Association members, a Board of Directors meeting in which chapter activities during the prior year are reviewed and legislative and/or non-legislative positions to be taken by the Association are finalized, the opportunity to attend up to eight CLE sessions, and networking opportunities for Convention participants.
A newsletter is published monthly and/or quarterly to disseminate information on the activities of the Association at both the state and local chapter levels.
