Organizations Filed Purposes: WFWP asserts that the family is the cornerstone for peace in the world, and that mature couples are the foundation for strong and loving families. We encourage every woman to become a "woman of peace" through cultivating her heart, the mother's heart, to care not just for her own children, but for the children of others, the children of other nations, the children of the world, by developing and expressing the qualities of empathy, forgiveness, and unconditional love.

CREATING A CULTURE OF PEACEWFWP USA completed its goal to launch the Global Womens' Peace Network (GWPN), a project of WFWP International, in all 5 regions of the United States! Our national chapters pursued their ongoing activities: networking, service project, fundraisers and educational programs, empowering 3,154 women and men in peace leadership with compassion. In total 117 events were held and 27 webinars.A new initiative is the launching of the "Global Friend " feature, see more at: https://www.wfwp.us/globalfriends This networking effort increased our reach tremendously. We reached 10,018,488 people by the end of 2019 up from 6,970 people in 2018 to with our vison: Women working together to establish a culture of heart in the family, community, nation, and world in order to achieve genuine and sustainable peace under God.We created a closer partnership with our neighbor Canada in 2019 collaborating on various projects in order to create a greater impact on the North American continent. We achieved great strides in 2019 in social network presence; 14% increase in Facebook followers and 44% increase in Instagram followers.At the same time we invested resources in building a new and we think improved website; https://www.wfwp.us/Global Women's Peace Network Under the theme "Women as the Turning Point for Peace." the GWPN was launched across all five regions in the USA, from November of 2018 to November of 2019 and attracted 500+ women leaders in total.After the NORTHEAST regional launch in November 2018, hosted by WFWP International President Yeon Ah Moon and WFWP USA President Angelika Selle, we continued as follows:WEST COAST: Los Angeles, California on April 6, with 80 women leaders in attendance, guest speaker Dr. Susan Taffer presented on "Education is Healing and Healing is Education", and newly appointed Int'l President Julia Moon spoke on the vison of WFWP founder. She also took this opportunity to meet with WFWP leaders for a Q& A session the next day.SOUTHWEST: Las Vegas on June 21, with 90 women leader participants. Four professional women panelists presented on the following discussion points: Mothers as Peace Leaders in Marriage & Family, Raising the Next Generation of Peace, The Impact of Self-Care on World Peace, and The Importance of Feminine Leadership at This Time.MIDWEST: Chicago on October 18, before the True Family Values Banquet, attended by 120 women. Four professional women panelists spoke on following discussion points: Be the Change, Women as the Catalyst for a more Peaceful Future, Young Women as the Driving Force for Securing Peace, Women as Life Givers for a Healthy Mother Earth. Int'l Senior Vice President Dr. Sun Jin Moon giving the keynote address on "Women as the Turning Point for Peace".SOUTHEAST: Washington DC on November 15, 2019 with 80 women leaders present. Four professional women panelists presented on: Women Building Bridges of Peace, Personal Transformation is a Path to Peace, Women in Culture and Media instilling Peace in Communities, Inspiring a New Generation of "Changemakers". Dr. Sun Jin Moon moved all with a most powerful and interactive keynote address on "Women as the Turning Point for Peace"WFWP's "HerStory Award was given to 17 outstanding women leaders at each GWPN conference. Education and Leading with Heart"WFWP USA leadership retreats allow participants to gain a deeper understanding of WFWP's vision and mission, how to lead with a compassionat heart, and to learn practical tools to further nourish their chapter. This year two regional and one local retreat were held strengthing chapter bonds with refreshing, inspiring activities and discussions."The Leadership of the Heart educational seminar series Part I "Discover the Leader Within" was shared throughout the country in 6 states. Feedback by a first-time participant. "We learned different ways to really love ourselves through self-worth. I am looking forward to sharing everything I learned with my friends and family.""The WFWP education curriculum Cornerstone for Happiness: Marriage and Family seminar was developed, and has been presented by 7 local chapters across the country! The curriculum focuses on building a healthy marriage and family as well as addressing the challenges that come with it."WFWP USA invited their local leaders and other interested women to the 63rd UN Commission on the Status of Women, where activists join to address issues women are facing around the world. This year again WFWP International and WFWP USA co-sponsored the Horizon Summit, an inter-generational gathering dedicated to fostering peace leadership, entitled "Advancing the Culture of Peace." "WFWP chapters across the country held 20 peace related programs, including two Bridge of Peace ceremonies, five Interreligious Sharing Series gatherings in Colorado, four sessions commemorating the UN International Day of Peace, and more. Outreach"The new feature "Global Friend" is an invitation for organizations to be promoted alongside the Global Women's Peace Network. Global Friends are organizations, companies, movements, shows, and trailblazing personalities who believe in and adhere to core peace tenets and use their outlet to foster peace. "Online radio, television shows, and a magazine feature spread the message of "Women as the Turning Point for Peace" to new audiences, more than 10 million"With great expectation for the future of WFWP, our Wfwp.us website was completely rebuilt and revamped this year. Look forward to even more exciting features to be added in 2020!"The New Jersey chapter raised the WFWP flag in front of the Clifton City Hall for seven days, WFWP Chairwoman Claire Haider says "It is time to let the WFWP flag and all that it stands for wave proudly all across the United States!""We continued to offer monthly webinars to our active WFWP PeaceBuilder membership to uplift and empower and thank them for their support and participation."Our home office team set up webinars, training our local volunteers on presenting our educational curricula in their chapters.

WOMEN SERVING THE WORLD, Schools of Africa and BeyondWFWP chapters, members and friends continue to serve their local communities and the world."The Washington DC chapter held their 7th Annual Day of Service, which brought together 151 people, students, teachers, parents, police officers, the Mayor's Office, local Council-member representatives, business owners, all with the purpose to serve the community. The goal for this annual service project is to instill service as the prerequisite for leadership. A participating student reflected, "Cleaning made me feel good inside and knowing that I'm helping to save the earth was a nice feeling.""Local chapter and online fundraising enabled WFWP USA to send grants to four WFWP schools in 2019, a total of $35,400.00. "Our New Jersey chapter members continued to support WFWP Cambodia's project enabling students an education their families can't afford. A grant of $9,995.00 was send in 2019. "WFWP also supported WFWP Paraguy with a shipment of 25 boxes of approximate 595 donated sweatshirts."We are grateful for our donors' support of the 1% Love Share project directed by WFWP International in Korea. $1,826.00 was collected in and this was sent on in Jan 2020.
