WINNERS OF THE YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS INTERNATIONAL AUDITIONS, HELD ANNUALLY, RECEIVE A MANAGEMENT CONTRACT WITH YCA. YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS PROVIDES PROMOTIONAL MATERIALS, BOOKS SEVERAL HUNDRED CONCERT ENGAGEMENTS AND EDUCATIONAL RESIDENCIES EACH YEAR THROUGHOUT THE UNITED STATES AND ABROAD, AND ARRANGES THE TRAVEL, PUBLICITY AND PROGRAMS FOR EACH CONCERT. YCA'S ARTIST MANAGERS COUNSEL THE ARTISTS ON THEIR CAREER DEVELOPMENT, AND HELP THE ARTISTS SECURE COMMERCIAL MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATION WHEN THE ARTISTS ARE READY TO LEAVE YCA
YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS SERIES IN NEW YORK:2019-2020 MARKED THE 59TH SEASON OF THE YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS SERIES IN NEW YORK. THE SERIES PRESENTED FOUR WINNERS OF THE 2018 YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS INTERNATIONAL AUDITIONS IN THEIR RECITAL DEBUTS AT MERKIN HALL AND CARNEGIE'S ZANKEL HALL; AND TWO "ENCORE" PERFORMANCES AT THE MORGAN LIBRARY AND MUSEUM. THE PANDEMIC SHUT DOWN ALL CONCERT HALLS BY MARCH 13, 2020. THE REMAINING TWO MORGAN LIBRARY CONCERTS AND ONE DEBUT CONCERT WERE POSTPONED. THE GALA WAS RECONFIGURED AS A VIRTUAL EVENT THAT TOOK PLACE IN SEPTEMBER 2020. YCA DID SPONSOR 10 ONLINE PERFORMANCES AND 10 ONLINE INTERVIEWS WITH THE YCA ARTISTS TO COMPLETE THE SERIES IN VIRTUAL FORMAT. YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS SERIES IN WASHINGTON, D.C.:THE YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS SERIES IN WASHINGTON D.C. PRESENTED IT'S 41ST SEASON AT THE KENNEDY CENTER'S TERRACE THEATER. THE SERIES COMPRISED FOUR RECITAL DEBUTS BY THE WINNERS OF THE YOUNG CONCERT ARTISTS AUDITIONS. ONE DEBUT RECITAL WAS POSTPONED BECAUSE OF THE PANDEMIC.
