Organizations Filed Purposes:
To associate its members together for their mutual benefit as horsemen and horsewoman working and/or competing at Tioga Downs Raceway or any other harness racetrack in the State of New York. To foster trade, commerce and interest of its members. To represent its members' point of view to local municipal, state, and federal agencies and to harness racetracks in the State of New York. To do any other act or thing incidental to or connected with the foregoing purposes or in advancement thereof, but not for the pecuniary profit or financial gain of its members, directors, or officers, except as permitted under Article 5 of the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law.
TO PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HEALTH INSURANCE TO HORSEMEN COMPETING AT TIOGA DOWNS RACEWAY.
TO PROVIDE ALTERNATE TRAINING AND CONDITIONING FOR HORSES WHEN TRACK CONDITIONS ARE UNFAVORABLE BY MANAGING AND MAINTAINING THE EQUISIZER.
TO PROMOTE THE HARNESS RACING BUSINESS THROUGH ADVERTISING AND AID HORSEMEN AND WOMEN IN DIFFICULT ECONOMIC TIMES WITH THE DRIVER SUPPLEMENT PROGRAM.
