Organizations Filed Purposes: Volunteer Fire Department

The department provides fire and rescue service to the townships of Pavilion and Covington. Our main purpose is to respond to every 911 activation for our district. This is a 24hr/day, 7 days/wk, 52 wk/year. We respond to, but limited to, house grass and carr fires, MVA's, Floods, illnesses, gas leaks, alarm activations, domestic disputes.

We provide response to all 911 activations. This could be fire, medical or just about anything We provide backup fire fighting service to neighboring fire departments as needed. Depending on the size of the incidents in neighboring departments we may be called as 2nd or 3rd responders. We provide an annual fire prevention program to teh pre and elementary schools in the district

We provide 6 scholarship awards to local high school. We sponsor local youth sports (Soccer and Baseball). We support local groups (Community Chest and Food Bank). Host post funeral gatherings for deceased members and/or their family members
