Organizations Filed Purposes: Through engagement with the community, maintain the natural resources of the Harlem Valley, to include wildlife habitats, water quality, agricultural lands and scenic vistas.

Conducted the preservation of lands in the organizations service area, as to provide our communities with the means of good land stewardship. Provided conservation education to students through the areas schools, and to the general public through our free outreach programs consisting of guided excursions onto lands of special natural interest, and presentations by professional speakers on subjects of timely conservation interest. Engaged in the acquisition of conservation easements on lands of high conservation value, and stewarded all existing holdings by applying sound measures of stewardship and enforcement, if required. Engaged in the acquisition of new potential lands, and applied sound management and stewardship of preserve lands that we own, encouraging public use by means of maintained trails, located where appropriate.

Established realtionship with local land conservation group to promote the development of the local parkland with the intent of securing conservation education and environmentally sensitive land management oversight.

Covered costs associated with the acceptance of donated land in the local community for environmental protection and to prevent unwanted development.
