The purpose for which this corporation is formed is to ensure the health, saftey, and welfare of domestic animals, farm animals, and wildlife located in Dutchess County, NY.
Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary is a facilty where local citizens can bring injured, feral, or unwanted animals for rehabilitaion or placement. In addition we offer medical services to the animals in our care. We are committed to our goal of never turning away any animal and to finding them permanent homes.In 2014 HVARS began the renovation of facilities to include a medical facility to provide low cost veteranary services as well as provide additional space for thier shelter and adoption programs.
Hudson Valley Animal Rescue & Sanctuary has an on-site Veterinary Hospital, and has been very effective in providing the medical care, as well as the spaying and neutering of local & feral animals in the Dutchess County area.
Hudson Valley Animal Rescue and Sanctuary has provided numerous animals with medical services, shelter, and has assisted in finding permanent homes for the animals.
