Organizations Filed Purposes: Making Communities stronger by bringing voice to diverse public issues and needs and building capacity within nonprofit organizations. Each year we work with hundreds of nonprofits and coalitions on a variety of issues, from marketing to fundraising (continued on Schedule O)and from strategic planning to community-level change.

Bring a voice to diverse public issues and needs and building capacity within nonprofits.

Customized Program Delivery: In its role as a capacity building organization, Causewave also provides nonprofits with as-needed services, to include: staff hours for plan implementation; facilitation of creative development processes; meeting and retreat facilitation; and constituent survey work to name a few examples. In many cases, these efforts involve volunteer professionals and local service providers with whom Causewave has developed working relationships.

Strategic Planning: One of the most powerful tools any organization can have in achieving its mission is a strategic plan. But very few nonprofits have either the expertise within their organization to conduct an effective strategic planning process or the resources to hire a competent for-profit planning consultant. This program was designed to fill that gap - offering nonprofits proven strategic planning tools, a detailed process, and professional facilitation, at a price they can afford.

Community Impact Campaigns: The Community Impact Program is designed to address a significant issue or need in the community. Causewave works in partnership with a collaborative group of all relevant nonprofit organizations and government agencies to find a long-term, sustainable solution to a problem. This group uses a collective impact approach and engages in project management, market research, plan development, campaign creation, media planning and program development / improvement and impact measurement. This broad-based effort often includes significant in-kind support from the professional marketing and media communities.
