THE GOODWILL ENTERPRISE SUPPORTED 850 INDIVIDUALS FOR OVER 40,000 HOURS OF WORK EXPERIENCE/COMMUNITY SERVICE ACTIVITIES.
FOOD SERVICES:GOODWILL'S FOOD SERVICES/HOSPITIALITY DIVISION COOKED AND DELIVERED OVER 638,000 MEALS TO SENIORS, THROUGH THE COUNTY SENIOR NUTRITION PROGRAM, CHILD DAY CARE PROGRAMS PROVIDING SUBSIDIZED MEALS FOR QUALIFIED INDIVIDUALS THAT MEET THE FEDERAL NUTRITION GUIDELINES AND HEAD START PROGRAMS.
2-1-1/LIFELINE:THE 2-1-1/LIFE LINE PROGRAM PROVIDES ACCESS TO TRAINED COUNSELORS WHO PROVIDE INFORMATION AND REFERRAL TO HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE AGENCIES AND PROGRAMS THROUGHOUT A 39-COUNTY REGION. COUNSELORS RESPOND TO CALLS TEXTS, EMAILS AND CONDUCT WEB CHATS THROUGH ITS 24/7 CRISIS, SUICIDE AND INFORMATION HOTLINE. IN 2019, 211/LIFE LINE HANDLED NEARLY 238,000 CONTACTS FROM INDIVIDUALS SEEKING SUPPORT RELATED TO MANY COMPLEX PRESENTING ISSUES, INCLUDING MENTAL HEALTH CONCERNS AND SUICIDE AND REQUESTS FOR ASSISTANCE WITH BASIC NEEDS AMONG OTHERS.
