Partners in Restorative Initiatives (PiRI) is committed to impacting the culture of our community through Restorative Practices by building and sustaining relationships and creating change in hearts and minds. Continued on schedule ORooted in indigenous peacemaking traditions, PiRI serves to restore humanity and dignity to our relationships, structures, and systems.
Train school staff in Restorative Practices
Partners in Restorative Initiatives brings restorative practices to the people of Western New York. Through training, consulting, facilitation, and advocacy, we are building relationships, strengthening communities, and repairing harm in schools, communities, and the justice system. We are integrally involved with the Rochester City School District and other suburban and rural districts. Our funding sources include individual donors, faith communities, foundations, and contracts with local school districts. During 2018, PiRI served 2,255 people which includes training, consultation, facilitation of restorative processes, and Library talking circles. They also published 8 newsletters, and held their annual meeting and open house.
