The Organization began operations to install wells in the communities of South Sudan in 2005. In 2019-20, WFSS drilled 57 new wells, rehabilitated 167 older wells and delivered 433 hygiene education trainings. In addition, they provided Emergency COVID-19 Hygiene Awareness Training for 18,000+ people, visited 25 rural health clinics to deliver soap and handwashing supplies, and drilled six new wells and rehabbed four broken wells at these clinics. More than 80,000 people were impacted this season. The organization has now drilled 457 wells since 2005.These programs are supported by contributions.
