THE MISSION OF THE SENECA FALLS LIBRARY IS TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY'S EDUCATIONAL, INFORMATIONAL AND LEISURE NEEDS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF LITERARY MATERIALS, PROGRAMS, MEETING VENUES AND MULTIMEDIA SERVICES.
TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY AS ITS LIBRARY SYSTEM PROVIDING BOOKS, PERIODICALS, MEETING ROOMS, INTERNET ACCESS & OTHER ITEMS TO BENEFIT THE GENERAL PUBLIC.
THE LIBRARY LOANS BOOKS, PERIODICALS, AUDIO AND VISUAL ITEMS AND NON-BOOK MATERIALS. IN ADDITION THE LIBRARY AFFORDS COMMUNITY ACCESS TO THE INTERNET AND MEETING ROOM. CIRCULATION CONSISTS OF PRINTED MATERIALS, DOWNLOADABLE MATERIALS AND OTHER MATERIALS FOR EDUCATION. THE LIBRARY HAS AN INTER-LIBRARY LOAN AGREEMENT TO PROVIDE MATERIALS TO THE PUBLIC WHICH ARE NOT OWNED BY THE LIBRARY.
