IRA RESIDENTIAL PROGRAMS - CONSIST IN THE OPERATION OF COMMUNITY RESIDENCES FOR HANDICAPPED PERSONS CAPABLE OF LIVING/FUNCTIONING IN THE COMMUNITY. IT PROVIDES SUCH INDIVIDUALS WITH A HOME AND SUPERVISION. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED HOMES FOR MENTALLY DISABLED CONSUMERS, TRAINING THEM TO BECOME MORE INDEPENDENT INDIVIDUALS IN THEIR HOMES, AND AT THE SAME TIME HELPING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. THE ORGANIZATION SERVICED 101 CLIENTS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2019.
DAY HABILITATION SERVICES - OFFERS TRAINING TO INDIVIDUALS WHO LIVE AT HOME AND WANT TO RECEIVE TRAINING IN THEIR HOMES TO PROMOTE INDEPENDENCE AND SELF-SUFFICIENCY. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED FULL HABILITATION SERVICES FOR PARTICIPANTS. THE ORGANIZATION PREPARED EACH INDIVIDUAL TO FACE THE WORLD, HELPED THEM TO BE SELF-DEPENDENT AND WORKING WITH THEM TO BUILD SKILLS TO ENHANCE THEIR POTENTIAL AND INTEGRATION INTO THE COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION SERVICED 198 CLIENTS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2019.
PENNSYLVANIA PROGRAMS - THIS WAIVER SERVICE PROVIDES ONE-ON-ONE SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS WITH MENTAL RETARDATION, CO-EXISTING MENTAL HEALTH DISABILITIES, OR AUTISM. INDIVIDUALS SERVED THROUGH THIS PROGRAM USUALLY LIVE AT HOME WITH FAMILY MEMBERS, IN PERSONAL CARE HOMES, SHELTERS, OR INDEPENDENTLY IN THE COMMUNITY. THE ORGANIZATION STAFF MEMBERS WHO PROVIDE THIS SERVICE ARE TRAINED TO ADDRESS THE INDIVIDUAL'S ISP AND ITS IMPLEMENTATION, LEADING TOWARD GREATER INDEPENDENCE. THEY ARE ALSO ADEPT AT INCIDENT REPORTING PROTOCOL, AND ABUSE AND NEGLECT PREVENTION. DAILY PROGRESS NOTES ARE SENT TO THE PARTICIPANT'S SUPPORT COORDINATOR. HABILITATION COUNSELORS PARTICIPATE IN ISP REVIEWS, AND ATTEND DAY SERVICE, SUPPORTIVE EMPLOYMENT, AND SCHOOL-BASED PROGRESS REVIEWS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO OFFERED A TRADITIONAL FOSTER CARE PROGRAM. THE ORGANIZATION SERVICED 94 CLIENTS DURING FISCAL YEAR 2019.
