The SAME Mission "To promote and facilitate engineering support for national security by developing and enhancing relationships and competencies among uniformed services, public- and private-sector engineers and related professionals, and by developing future engineers through outreach and mentoring."

Funds are deposited into an inviolate principle, proceeds of which are used to fund annual college scholarships to students of engineering and related sciences -AND- Educational Delivery: Donation to the SAME/ USAF Engineering and Construction Camp. Select high school students who are interested in a career in engineering and service to the country. The program is jointly hosted by the US Air Force Academy and the Society of American Military Engineers. (1 Lump Sum).
Infrastructure Programs, General/Other: Provide 4 newsletters, 6 or more meeting notices and member updates; Operate a website; operate a telephone hotline for members to communicate with the organization; maintain a bank account. (1 Lump Sum). Revenue counted here is from member dues.
