THE STATEN ISLAND COUNCIL FOR ANIMAL WELFARE IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOUNDED IN 1972 DEDICATED TO THE RESCUE, CARE AND PLACEMENT OF STRAY AND ABANDONED ANIMALS. TO PROMOTE THE CARE AND WELFARE OF ANIMALS, TO ENCOURAGE ANIMAL POPULATION CONTROL THROUGH HUMANE MEANS, AND TO PROVIDE FREE PUBLIC INFORMATION PERTAINING TO THE CARE OF ANIMALS.
ANIMAL CARE, RESCUE, VETERINARY CARE BOARDING, FOOD, AND ADVERTISING TO FIND SUITABLE HOMES FOR ABANDONED ANIMALS.
