Organizations Filed Purposes:
Varysburg Fire Dept was formed as a not for profit organization. Their object is to support the Varysburg Fire District in providing fire fighting service, fire provention and first aid for the residents of the district, Their motto is so few doing so much for so many!
Survived the Covid 19 Pandemic without a single member getting sick.
Put in our new parking area to the east of our hall and put up a cedar fence along the east side of it. During 2020 Fire District volunteers answered 141 calls - 23 Fire and 118 Rescue.
Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Fire District(FD) was unable to run their ususal fund raisers, but nevertheless the FD was able toraise enough funds to get it through 2020. The FD received community support with our Fund Drive letter, which we hjadnt done in many years. The people of our FD donated over $14,000 during 2020.
