IT IS A A 5 DAY EXHIBITION OF PLEASURE VEHICLES AND THE DIFFERENT BREEDS OF HORSES UTILIZED IN THIS PERIOD. ALSO DEMONSTSRATES THE CARE AND HANDLING OF HORSES AND PONIES AND THE SKILL NECESSARY TO HITCH AND DRIVE SINGLE AND MULTIPLE HORSE VEHICLES SAFELY.
SCARLET, TARTON AND LIVERY BALL THIS EVENT IS HELD TO FOSTER COMRADERIE AND MAINTAIN INTEREST IN THE W H COMPETION DURING THE "OFF SEASON" AMONG VOLUNTEERS, COMPETITERS, HORSE ENTHUSIASTS AND THE PUBLIC WHO SUPPORT THE ACTIVITIES OF THE PITTSFORD CARRIAGE ASSOCIATION.
ANNUAL CLINIC THIS IS AN EDUCATIONAL EVENT HELD TO TEACH NOVICES AND IMPROVE THE SKILLS OF OTHERS SO THEY CAN BECOME PROFICIENT IN THE TRAINING AND DRIVING OF HORSE DRAWN VEHICLES.
