THESE EXCEPTIONAL SERVICES WILL BE DELIVERED IN A CARING AND COMPASSIONATE MANNER, FOCUSING ON MEETING THE NEEDS OF THE COMMUNITY. WHITE PLAINS HOSPITAL CENTER (THE "HOSPITAL") IS A 292 BED ACUTE CARE NOT-FOR PROFIT HOSPITAL SERVING THE HEALTH CARE NEEDS OF PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN, WORK IN OR VISIT WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NEW YORK AND ITS SURROUNDING AREAS. ALL CARE AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED WITHOUT REGARD TO RACE, COLOR, CREED, NATIONAL ORIGIN, AGE, SEXUAL ORIENTATION OR ABILITY TO PAY. THE HOSPITAL HAS A TRADITION OF EXCELLENCE THAT HAS EARNED IT AN OUTSTANDING REPUTATION FOR HIGH-QUALITY, PATIENT CARE WITH DIRECT COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT. THE HOSPITAL'S EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT OFFERS ACCESS TO THE LATEST TECHNOLOGY AND UTILIZES A TEAM-BASED APPROACH TO EFFECTIVELY AND EFFICIENTLY PROVIDE EMERGENCY CARE FOR BOTH PEDIATRIC AND ADULT PATIENTS.
