NAMI Summit County was created to improve the quality of life of the citizens of Summit County, Ohio who have a mental illness and to ensure their dignity and respect while offering support to their families.
NEEDY SOLES - Needy Soles footwear provides shoes, socks and other footwear to those who cannot afford to buy their own. Over 700 pairs of shoes were provided during our fiscal year ending December 31, 2018.
HOUSEWARMING - Housewarming provides new, basic household items to assist persons to live independently. During our fiscal year ending December 31, 2018, 254 persons were assisted.
OUTREACH AND EDUCATION - NAMI Summit County provides a variety of support group meetings and educational programs to assist consumers and their families cope with mental illness.
