To save the lives of animals in imminent danger of euthanazia and enrich the lives of people through rescue, spaying/neutering, adoption and advocacy.
In 2019, 4,312 pets were rescued. Over the course of the year, 2,010 dogs and 2,165 cats placed in adoptive homes for a total of 4,272 pets were adopted
In 2019, 14,376 spay/neuter surgeries were performed, including 6,033 on dogs and 8,343 on cats. The clinic ensures that ever pet adopted from One of a Kind Pet Rescue is spayed or neutered. This year we spayed/neutered 2,890 of our own rescued pets as well as 8, 839 from other rescue organizations. We also 2, 647 low-cost surgeries to the general public.
In conjuction with Pet Adoptions and Clinic Operations, One of A Kind Pet Rescue sells pet food and supplies including supplies for the many special needs pet we rescue and place. Any profits made from these sales goes to the direct support of rescue operations.
