THE OHIO STATE AERIE FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES IS A FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION THAT PROMOTES BROTHERHOOD AMONG ITS MEMBERS AND PROVIDES FOR A VARIETY OF CHARITIES ON AN ONGOING BASIS. THE EAGLES PROVIDE MANY ACTIVITIES THAT PROMOTE FELLOWSHIP AND BRING ITS MEMBERS CLOSER TOGETHER. MANY OF THESE ACTIVITIES PROVIDE EXCESS FUNDS. THESE FUNDS ARE THEN ALLOCATED FOR CHARITABLE USE. THE FOLLOWING ORGANIZATIONS TYPICALLY BENEFIT FROM THESE EXCESS FUNDS: BOYS VILLAGE; GOD, FLAG & COUNTRY; M. "BLACKIE" FLOYD FELLOWSHIP FUND; BLIND FUND; DON CASE SCHOLARSHIP FUND; EAGLE VILLAGE. THE OHIO STATE AERIE FRATERNAL ORDER OF EAGLES IS THE GOVERNING BODY FOR OVER 200 LOCAL AERIES WITHIN OHIO. TOTAL MEMBERSHIP BENEFITED IS APPROXIMATELY 115,000.
