Organizations Filed Purposes:
Robyn's Nest is an organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of animals through rescue, adoption, and education.
Animal care is our largest program service expense. It includes vet care, pet supplies, and laboratory expenses. It also includes a portion of rent, building maintenance, phone/internet, volunteer expenses, office supplies, trash, advertising, utilities, and payroll. Revenue comes from adoptions, surrender, reclaim, and boarding fees.
Grooming is our second largest program service expense. We had a full service grooming salon where we did shave downs on severely matted dogs, trimmed nails, and cleaned ears. We also inform owners of medical issues we discover such as dental issues, fleas, ticks, growths, and ear infections. Our expenses are from grooming supplies, groomer fees, and our non related business taxes. We also have expenses for a portion of rent, utilities, payroll, advertising, phone/internet, office supplies, trash, and equipment maintenance. Revenue comes from grooming fees.
Microchipping is our 3rd largest program service expense. We keep our microchipping fees low in order to try to get every dog and cat microchipped. Every one we adopt out has a microchip and we also microchip for the public. Our expenses are for microchips and scanners. Our revenue comes from fees for microchipping animals for the public.
