A PSYCHIATRIC/MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER, FOGARTY PROVIDES OUTPATIENT CARE AND INPATIENT CARE FOR EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT AND ADMITTED PATIENT CONSULTATIONS.ACCORDING TO OHIO HOSPITAL ASSOCIATION DATA, MERCY MEDICAL CENTER IS A LEADING OHIO HOSPITAL IN PREVENTING DEATH FROM SEVERE SEPSIS AND SEPTIC SHOCK, WHICH MEANS GREATER SAFETY FOR OUR COMMUNITY. MERCY ADOPTED CODE HONOR TO ALLOW HOSPITAL STAFF THE OPPORTUNITY TO HONOR ORGAN DONORS AND SUPPORT FAMILIES. AS THE AMERICAN HEART ASSOCIATION CANTON'S CPR ANYTIME SPONSOR, MERCY IS COMMITTED TO CPR EDUCATION FOR THE COMMUNITY AND USED INFANT CPR KITS TO TRAIN PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS IN INFANT CPR THROUGHOUT 2019.THE MERCY INTERNATIONAL MISSION OUTREACH (MIMO) TEAM COMPLETED ITS ANNUAL MEDICAL MISSION TRIP TO THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. PHYSICIANS AND NURSES PROVIDED 45 SURGERIES AND SERVED MORE THAN 500 PATIENTS AT TWO CLINICAL LOCATIONS.
