Organizations Filed Purposes: THE CHAGRIN VALLEY JUNIOR CHAMBER (JAYCEES) GIVES YOUNG PEOPLE BETWEEN THE AGES OF 18 AND 40 THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO BUILD THE BRIDGES OF SUCCESS FOR THEMSELVES IN THE AREAS OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, MANAGEMENT SKILLS, INDIVIDUAL TRAINING, COMMUNITY SERVICE, AND INTERNATIONAL CONNECTIONS. THE U.S. JUNIOR CHAMBER IS A NON-PROFIT CORPORATION/ORGANIZATION AS DESCRIBED UNDER INTERNAL REVENUE CODE SECTION 501(C)(4).SERVING THE COMMUNITY SINCE 1956, THE CHAGRIN VALLEY JAYCEES HAVE BEEN A FORCE FOR GOOD IN THE CHAGRIN VALLEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS OF OHIO, RAISING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS FOR LOCAL CAUSES, CHARITIES AND OTHER SIMILAR ORGANIZATIONS. THEY HAVE BUILT PARKS, PLAYGROUNDS, HOSPITALS, BALL FIELDS, AND HOUSING FOR THE ELDERLY WHILE CONDUCTING SERVICE AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS.WITH THE FOCUS OF THE NATION ON VOLUNTEERISM, FROM THE SMALLEST TOWNS TO THE LARGEST CITIES, THE JAYCEES ARE ENLARGING AREAS OF OPPORTUNITY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE.

TO PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP PERSONAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH LOCAL COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT WHILE EXPANDING THE JAYCEE MOVEMENT.

OUR GOAL IS TO PROVIDE YOUNG PEOPLE THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP PERSONAL AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS THROUGH LOCAL COMMUNITY SERVICE AND ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT WHILE EXPANDING THE JAYCEE MOVEMENT. OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS RELATED TO THIS ARE THE FOLLOWING: - VARIOUS EVENTS FOR THE ORGANIZATION'S MEMBERS TO MEET THE ABOVE STATED GOAL. - PROVIDED FUNDS AND RAN THE BLOSSOM TIME FESTIVAL, A FOUR-DAY FESTIVAL OVER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND IN DOWNTOWN CHAGRIN FALLS EACH YEAR, WHICH INCLUDES A MEMORIAL DAY PARADE, CARNIVAL, HOT AIR BALLOON COMPETITION, A 5K RUN, CULINARY EVENTS, AND MORE. - PROVIDED FUNDS AND RAN A CHILI COOK-OFF EACH YEAR IN CHAGRIN FALLS. - IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION RAISES MONEY TO DONATE TO LOCAL CAUSES AND CHARITIES. IN 2019 THE ORGANIZATION DONATED $19,576 TO VARIOUS LOCAL CHARITIES.
