The Deaconess Health Associations Fund, Inc. is organized to raise and distribute funds to financially support the tax-exempt affiliates of Deaconess Associations, Inc. in terms of community health care needs, as well as provide grant monies to other tax-exempt entities to support specific health related community endeavors. The Foundation is currently focusing on initiatives which provide healthcare access and education to at-risk populations and in underserved communities.

Included in the many services the Foundation supports are a program to educate the Heimlich maneuver, operating a mobile healthcare unit, and activities to support the long term care facilities that are a part of Deaconess Senior Services Inc.
