Organizations Filed Purposes:
To build and sustain a community including specialized residences for adults with autism.
The Ken Anderson Foundation was established in January 2014. A group of individuals dedicated to the same goal, joined together with a vision. Our mission is to build a housing development with some of the residences specialized for adults living with autism and other developmental disabilities.Autism is the fastest growing development disability in the United States. There are many resources to benefit children and teens, yet there is a serious lack of options for adults living with autism. Autism is a lifelong struggle for both affected individuals and their families. By the year 2030 the number of adults living with autism is expected to increase by 625% compared to the 2010 figures.
