Organizations Filed Purposes:
Acting as a catalyst for inclusion, The Presidents Council supports, develops, and advocates for our regions current and future generations of African American entreprenuers and leaders.
The PC Scholars program works with Cleveland area high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to not only prepare them for high school graduation but also a future that extends outside the classroom. PC Scholars learn tactical skills like personal finance, interviewing tips and entrepreneurship through interactive workshops focused on academic achievement, leadership career preparedness and life skills.
In keeping with our mission to develop our regions current generation of African American entrepreneurs, the Presidents Council Foundation provides training, resources and networks to minority enterprises in northeast Ohio with over 120 graduates from the program since its inception in 2001 and with 65% of them still in business today, the emerging entrepreneurs program has succeeded in becoming a superior resource for the strenghtening of African American businesses.
