Village Capital Corporation (VCC) builds and strengthens underserved neighborhood in Northeast Ohio by providing capital to strategic real estate development projects that serve as a catalyst for revitalization. Our loans capital is deployed to projects that: eliminate blight, provide quality housing and commercial assets, create jobs, foster economic diversity and inclusion, and promote positive social outcomes for residents.2019 Accomplishments:1) Origination of $8.6 million in loans, 2) Creation or preservation of 106 units of housing, and 3) Creation of 19,500 sq. ft. of commercial space. These catalytic projects created program space for youth services organization, increased access to affordable and workforce housing, repurposed brownfields for market housing, and created innovative micro-retail spaces for small, minority-owned businesses. Additionally, each VCC-financed project created and/or maintained jobs.
