THE CLASSIC- The Classic, a fundraiser for the ASAE Foundation, generated the most ticket sales and revenue in the event's 13 year history. 2,246 tickets were sold and $372,800 was raised. The event,held at Nationwide Arena on August 12, 2019 included a concert from critically acclaimed, multi-award winning, platinum-selling singer-songwriter, activist and area native, John Legend.
OPENING NIGHT - Approximately 4,500 attendees were at the Openinig Event at COSI where they experienced five of Columbus' downtown entertainment districts in one giant festival of an opening celebration. Interactive sampling of local food drinks, art and performers. Attendees took in the beautiful skyline views from COSI- a hands-on center for science and fun in an ultra-cool riverfront building by world renowned architect, Arata Isozaki.
CLOSING NIGHT - Approximately 2,200 attended the Closing at Express LIVE! The Closing was August 13, 2019. Models stomped the runway to various genres of live bands at EXPRESS Live!-the first indoor-outdoor convertible venue. Local craft brews and Columbus' finest food trucks kept visitors fueled up for this up-close look at our local fashion scene. They saw styles from grassroots and indie labels to global retail giants you know and love. Entertainment was provided by closing headliner, singer, songwriter, guitarist and entertainer, Brad Paisley.
