The ICCA is a membership organization dedicated to promoting community-based corrections for adults and juveniles to enhance public safety.
Annual Conference-ICCA's annual research conference in community corrections features state of the art research and findings in the field. Workshops focus on implementing best practice. MEMBERSHIP: As an ICCA member, agency staff and individuals receive news, resources, and information especially for community corrections professionals through ICCAs website, electronic newsletter, discounts on conference fees and books; and the ability to vote for and participate in ICCA elected leadership. Interested parties can join ICCA via the website or by calling the office.
JOURNAL: ICCA members also receive free online access to the Journal of Community Corrections (JCC), the official journal of the International Community Corrections Association. The JCC is the most widely read and widely respected journal of policy, research, and programs for community-based rehabilitation and treatment of offenders. The original what works journal of evidence-based interventions, JCC brings readers the best thinking of todays foremost experts in articles that are written, designed, and edited to stimulate action and achieve results. ADVOCACY: Y The International Community Corrections Association, as a private, non-profit, membership organization, acts as the representative voice for residential and other community corrections programs. ICCA works with the stakeholder community, on Capitol Hill, and with the federal administrative agencies (principally the Department of Justice) in furthering our mission.
