Built in 1997, this 12-unit apartment building at 4017-4039 Southpoint Blvd. in south Columbus has provided safe, affordable housing linked to rental subsidies and services for low-income persons disabled with mental illness. The part-time, live-in Resident Manager, an experienced mental health case manager, monitors residents' independent living, provides crisis intervention, facilitates individual and group meetings with residents and support providers, assists with property maintenance, and fosters good community relations.In 2016, 12 of the 12 disabled, low-income persons served (100%) either remained housed at NRA II or exited to other permanent housing. On average, residents have stayed housed in this program for more than 12 years.
